I am a William H. Kruskal Instructor in the Department of Statistics and Committee on Computational and Applied Mathematics at the University of Chicago.
I
obtained
my
Ph.D
degree
in
Mathematics
at
University
of
Houston
in
August
2022
under
the
supervision
of Yuliya
Gorb
and
Silvia Jiménez Bolaños.
My
research
interests
lie at
the
intersection
of
mathematical
analysis
and
materials
science,
focusing
on
asymptotic
analysis
of
partial
differential
equations
describing
models
of
composite
materials. From
a
mathematical
perspective,
my
research
encompasses
calculus
of
variations,
regularity
theory,
spectral
theory,
and
mathematical
physics,
with
homogenization
theory
of PDE
playing
a
central
role
in
connecting
these
fields.
